Samuel Anthony Principato

Samuel Anthony Principato, 90, of South Toms River, NJ, passed away on July 4th, 2016, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. He was born in North Arlington, NJ, where he lived until moving to So. Toms River. He worked as a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed fishing, bingo, and spending time with his family. Sam was an usher at St. Justin the Martyr Church and a member of their Holy Name Society.

Sam was predeceased by his beloved wife Theresa J. Principato in 2011, and his grandson Sean. He is survived by two sons: Anthony and his wife Cynthia of Branchburg, NJ, and Mark and his wife Robin of Forked River, NJ; one daughter Beverly Dillon and her husband Thomas of Sparrows Point, MD; six adored grandchildren: Carey, Lisa, Allison, Christopher, Paige and Gina; and three great-grandchildren: Olivia, Sheridan, and Abigail.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 7th, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ, from 2-4 & 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM at St. Justin the Martyr Church, 975 Fisher Blvd. in Toms River. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
