Rose E Medaglia

She was born as Rose SanFilippo in Bronx, NY, where she fell in love and married her adoring husband of 56 years, Eugene Medaglia. Shortly after marrying, they moved to East Brunswick, NJ where they raised their four children. After retirement, they moved to Holiday Heights in Toms River where they happily lived out the remainder of their lives. Rose was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother devoted to her family. She had a passion for collecting clocks and antiques. She was compassionate and kind to everyone she met; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene, in 2010 and also by her son, Bobby in 2004. She is survived by her children: Eugene and his wife Lucia, Stephanie and her husband Paul Kurtz, James and his wife Carol; her two grandchildren, Julianne and her husband Brandon Elders and Eric Kurtz and his wife Stephanie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 10:30 to 11:30 at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at 62 Cedar Grove Avenue in Toms River.
