Robert Terlizzi

Robert was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Elsie Terlizzi, his brother Nicholas, and sister Annette. He grew up in Montclair and raised his family in West Caldwell before moving to Toms River in 1997.

Robert was a graduate of Montclair High School and Seton Hall University. He met and married the love of his life Micaela Garaghty Terlizzi in High School, and they were married for 60 years until Micaela’s passing in 2019.

Robert worked as a Physical Education and Health teacher for the Essex County School system, with most of his time at Bloomfield Tech. He was a beloved teacher and coach, impacting many lives throughout his years in education.

Robert was a beloved Father, Uncle, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. He is survived by his children, Robin and Tom Teaster of Georgia, Michael and Anita Terlizzi of Arizona, Debra Terlizzi of Toms River, and David and Denise Terlizzi of Barnegat. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved and impacted.

Memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital are appreciated.

A visitation and memorial service will be held Saturday March 25, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753
