Phyllis Marie Wrann, age 75, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born in New York City, Phyllis was a lifelong resident before retiring to Toms River two years ago. Phyllis was a partner at the Law Firm of Winget, Spadafora & Schwartzberg for many years prior to partially retiring to a Senior Attorney role with Clausen Miller PC. Phyllis graduated first in her class from SUNY New Paltz and New York Law School summa cum laude, all while raising a family.
Phyllis was an amazing woman - brilliant, strong, funny, stylish, clever, kind, generous, honest, and hard working. She was always willing to help those in need.
She enjoyed visiting the ocean and watching seagulls, looking for seals at Montauk, attending Broadway shows, casinos, shopping, eating at nice restaurants and hot dog stands, watching the Rocky movies, Spock from Star Trek and Sherlock Holmes, and laughing at silly things like the pigeons in NYC and the Minions. She was the first one on the dance floor especially when Bob Seger's Old Time Rock n Roll was playing.
Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Walter and her loving daughter, Jennifer McCave.
A visitation for Phyllis will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River.
