My deepest condolences to the Pecora family. I worked with Phil for a year in the mail room. He was so sweet, funny and he always watched over me when I was there.  My heart goes out to the family. RIP Phil. 

We have known Philip, his wife, Mary, and their children since 1979 when we were neighbors on Seward Avenue and became very dear friends. Philip kept in touch with us throughout the years...every Christmas we would send one another Holiday greetings and we would keep up with emails and text messages. In 2020 while visiting Toms River, we took a ride past our old house and ran into Barbie right in front of her house. It was as if we never parted and just picked up where we left off, chatting about our lives. It was then that we learned Philip's health was failing. We knew there was a reason for his emails, cards and texts to slow way down. Needless to say, Philip and his family will always hold a little corner of our hearts because we were like family. We are sure Mary is waiting to greet him and that he will continue to watch over his family from Heaven. He will ever be missed and never forgotten.

Phil and I worked together in the same lab early in our careers. Many years later we ran into each other in downtown Toms River only to realize we now worked within one mile of each other. So, ccasionally we would meet for lunch, swap stories and reminisce about old times.

Phil was quite the story-teller with a dry, and wry sense of humor. On recent visits, Phil maintained his good nature, and most of all, his sense of humor. He will be missed.

I extend my condolences to his family and especially to his daughters who worked tirelessly to give him comfort in his final days.




Retired from Ocean County a few years ago but remember Phil fondly. He was always a nice guy. RIP Phil you will be missed by many

I am very saddened by this i worked with Phil for years he was such a great guy...funny...i used to call him the man of words you always had to  really listen to what he was saying...he was smart..could be a smart ass at times but we loved him...what a great loss....love to trisha and barb and the grand kids he loved so much you will be missed...l9ve you my friend spread your wings and fly my friend you are with mary again...hugs to all who loved this man

Dear Barb and Trish, I know we haven’t spoken in a while, but dad and I want to give you our sincere condolences. We both know what it’s like to lose a mother. Now losing your other  parent, the grief start all over. Your father was a good man. He was funny and kind. I truly believe that your dad is with your mom and my mom and they are probably drinking, smoking playing cards, maybe even bowling. And they will be having a good time. Try to think of them all together it may help him.
