Maureen Richards, 73, of Toms River, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Carteret before moving to Toms River 6 years ago. Maureen loved to take trips to Atlantic City, and she enjoyed her shopping outings. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Vera Bedford, her son Joseph F. Gasser Sr., a brother John Bedford and grandson Joseph F. Gasser Jr. Surviving are her daughters Kathleen Bopp and Maureen Patricia; her sons Kenneth Gasser and Keith Gasser; her sisters and brothers, Eileen, Michelle, Veronica, Dennis and Brian; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.
