Lorraine Donahue, 85, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Harrington, Maine, she lived in Hillside and Irvington, NJ before moving to Toms River 17 years ago.
She enjoyed arts and crafts at the community center along with reading, puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
Lorraine was predeceased by her husband George Donahue in 2014 and her brothers Larry and Kenny. She is survived by her three sons, Michael Donahue of Toms River, NJ, Douglas and Peggy Donahue of Middlesex, NJ and Bryan Donahue of Brick, NJ; two brothers, Jim Stanhope and his wife Janet and Buddy Stanhope and his wife Beverly; and three grandchildren, Evan Donahue and his fiancé Katie Colandrea, along with Sarah Donahue of Barnegat, NJ and Dan Donahue of Corinna, Maine.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 2 PM to 5 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755 where a funeral service will be celebrated at 4:30 PM. Burial will take place on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:30 AM at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083. The funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home promptly at 10:30 am. If you prefer to meet at the cemetery please be there by 11:15 AM and follow the signs to the office which is where you will meet the hearse.
