Kathleen Amatel

Kathleen Amatel, 99, of Colts Neck, NJ passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Care One at Wall. Kathleen was born in Elizabeth, NJ., and had lived in Linden till she married and moved to Cliffwood Beach where she raised her children, then retired to Toms River for 25 years before moving to Colts Neck in 2015.

She worked for the Social Security Administration for many years until her retirement.

Kathleen enjoyed exercising and keeping fit her entire life, in addition she loved to read, baking, crocheting and watching many game shows especially Wheel of Fortune. Most importantly Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family.

Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Donald and her sons Donald, Thomas and Jeffrey. She is survived by four children; Vincent Amatel and his wife Edna, Cynthia Amatel, Nancy Walton and her husband Steve and Joseph Amatel. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren; Marissa (Joseph), Robert "RJ" (Becca) and Christopher.

Cremation is private.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated this summer in honor of her 100th birthday.
