Karen Toslu

Karen Elaine Toslu, aged 64, passed away on September 25, 2024, in Toms River, NJ. Born on October 18, 1959, in Paterson, NJ, Karen was always known for her caring, easy-going, and compassionate nature. She was a smart and fair individual, widely respected and loved by those around her.

Karen dedicated her life to being a mother to her two children, Marc and Jennifer. She later became an integral part of a family business with her ex-husband until her retirement in 2022.

Karen had a rich personal life filled with various hobbies that included playing bingo, enjoying board games, traveling, and participating in social club functions. These activities brought her much joy and allowed her to connect with people within her community.

She leaves behind a loving family: her son, Marc; daughter, Jennifer; and sisters, Robin, Darlene, and Laurie. Her mother, Thelma, preceded her in death. Karen's legacy of kindness and acceptance will live on through her family and all who knew her.

A visitation to honor Karen's life will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:30 pm. Burial will take place on Thursday October 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Karen’s memory to the Lupus Foundation of America.
