Born in Secaucus, she resided in Jersey City before moving to Monmouth County and settling in Lanoka Harbor.
Julitta attended St. Aloysius Academy in Jersey CIty and graduated from Mater Dei High School in Holmdel in 2004. She continued her education at Monmouth University, where she received her degrees both in history and education. She met her husband Richard while living in Toms River and they married on September 1, 2018. Julitta was an avid reader, and especially loved Harry Potter and Star Wars. She was a fan of the New York Rangers and enjoyed going to games. Julitta was also a world traveler, having visited almost every island and most of Central America. Julitta made friends wherever she traveled and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. If you were fortunate enough to become her friend, you would have a friend for life.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Julitta and Kenneth Diamond; her paternal grandparents, Rose and John D'Adamo; a grandfather, Matthew Bonkalski; and her uncles, Matthew Bonkalski and Raymond D'Adamo.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Filosa; her mother, Julitta Manobianco; her father, John D'Adamo; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Susan and Richard Filosa; many cousins and extended family members; and her beloved dog and best pal, Penny Pup.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A service will be held in conjunction with the visitation at 8:30PM. Cremation will be private.
