Joshua had many passions including his love for music and aspired to be a producer. He played the guitar and drums and he also enjoyed creative writing and drawing. Joshua possessed an innate, unique, curiosity of society and believed in keeping an open heart to new experiences and to his fellow man.
He was predeceased by his grandfather Deacon Myron J. Novitsky and a cousin, Talon Aubain. Surviving are his mother, Tracy Novitsky, her partner George Signore, his father John Okinsky, his grandmother Sadie Novitsky-Garofalo, and her husband, Raymond, two aunts, Lauralee Emore and Susan O'Brien, his uncle Myron David Novitsky his loving cousins, Jerremy, Jonathan & Marissa, Jeffrey, Jacquelyn, Melissa, Jessica & Paul, Steven & Ellyse, and Mercedes. Joshua enjoyed and had special love for his youngest cousins Joseph, Natayla, Wolfgang, Phoenix, Mackenzie, Zoey, Peyton, Ciarra, Mateo, Gia, Anthony, Aurora, Avenel, and Alessandra. Joshua will be missed by his beloved extended family and friends including Mary Jane, Rachael, and Anthony.
Visiting will be Wednesday from 5 - 9 p.m. with a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Rd. Toms River. Cremation will be private.
