Jeanette "Janet" C. Bartiromo

Jeanette C. “Janet” Bartiromo (nee: Forlenza), 95, of Naples, Fl passed away peacefully at Avow Hospice, Naples on Friday, March 26, 2021. Born in Newark, NJ, Janet, had lived in Ortley Beach and Toms River, NJ before moving to Naples, Fl., 3 years ago. Janet was a Clerk with the Newark Board of Education.

Janet was very active in the Newark community. She was instrumental in establishing the Adult Education Program at Eastside High School, Newark, and she was very active in the PTA for many years. After moving to Ortley Beach then to Toms River, Janet continued to serve the community by raising money for the Ortley Beach First Aid Squad and the Deborah Heart Center. Her strongest love was for her family, her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews all were welcome into our family’s home and mom would whip up a delicious Italian meal in no time.

Janet was predeceased by her beloved husband Pasquale (2000) and daughter Patricia (2010) and is survived by her loving children; Judi Guida and her husband Ralph and Joseph Bartiromo and his wife Patricia. Janet is also survived by her sister Theresa Marzano. Also survived by a host of loving grand and great grandchildren as well as her beloved nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 10-11:30am at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday April 6th at 12:00 pm. at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township, NJ. Entombment will follow to the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples Florida 34105.
