Gregory John Fresca Sr., 79, of Minerva, NY passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Known as Greg the Barber, Greg was a long-time resident of Manchester before retiring to Minerva, NY, 20 years ago.
Greg enjoyed playing golf, flying and racing his pigeons, hosting family BBQ's, being outdoors especially in the Adirondacks and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, the love of his life, Carole (Kellett). Greg was a proud father to his children, Deborah (Michael) Henry, Nanette (Eric) Gunther, Victoria Stanton, Gregory (Barbara), Jacqueline (Chuck) Setser, Anthony and Joseph (Sacha) and an adoring "Papa" to his 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Gregory will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 12, 2024,10:00 am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 685 Hooper Ave, Toms River. Interment will follow to St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
