Gloria R. Harper

Gloria R. Harper, 94, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Monday February 6, 2017 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Belleville, Bloomfield and Waretown before moving to Toms River in 1995.

Gloria was predeceased by her husband, William; her two sisters, Violet Hildenbrand and Nevette Stefanelli ; her brother Frank Rizzolo; her son-in-law Carl Signore; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Sheridan. She is survived by five sons; Dr. Gregory Harper and his wife Jean of Lexington, KY, Robert Harper and his wife Regina of Rutherfordton, NC, John Harper and his wife Carolann of Waretown, NJ, Mark Harper and his wife Patti of Roseland, NJ, Christopher Harper and his wife, Vikki of Barnegat, NJ; two daughters, Cynthia Signore of Toms River and Gloriajean Harper-Klaw and her husband Gary Klaw of Union, NJ; her brother Paul “Julie” Sheridan and also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday February 8, 2017 from 4 to 9 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 9, 2017 at 11:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River. Burial will be at Ocean County Memorial Park, Waretown, NJ.
