Gerald R. Robichaud, 69, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on December 30th, 2018 surrounded by those he loved. He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, and moved to Toms River in 1968. Gerald was a welder for 30 years and member of Local 172 and 274. Gerald was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He loved animals and enjoyed fishing; nature; spending winters in Ft. Myers, Florida; traveling with his family; and cooking. Gerald was a diehard Patriots Fan. He was a member and volunteer for the Toms River DAV Chapter: Ocean County Memorial 24.
Gerald was predeceased by his parents: Julian and Yvette (Bernier) Robichaud; by his mother and father-in-law: Maria and Paul Gallo; and by his brother-in-law Robert Gallo. He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of 49 years, Anna (Gallo) Robichaud, his daughter Michelle Berenwick and husband Michael, son Gerald Robichaud, and daughter Ann Marie Harris and husband James. Gerald is also survived by six loving grandchildren: Nicole Pasqua and husband Chris, Tyler Hahn, Colby Robichaud, Michael Berenwick, James Harris, and Anastasia Harris; his sister Arline Jacyssin; four brothers-in-law and their wives; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, January 4th, 2019, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 AM on Saturday at St. Joseph Church, 685 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ. Cremation will be private.
