Elide LaBracio Johnston age 80 of Toms River formerly of Newark passed away Tuesday November 13th at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Elide was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was a compassionate and loving person who donated to many causes. Her sense of humor was a source of sunshine to many of those whose lives she touched. We will miss her. She was predeceased by her daughter Lorraine, mother Jean, father Thomas, brothers Patsy and Louie and sister Rosemary. Surviving is her husband of 63 years George, 3 daughters Valerie Mauriello, Joanne Tumminelli and Dawn Rainforth, her brother Anthony LaBracio, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with a funeral service at 3:30 pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Rd. Toms River. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
