A most giving and loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend slipped from our arms to enter forever peace. Debbie had the most giving heart of any angel on earth. She overcame many obstacles in her short life, always reaching out for new and exciting adventures with her family and friends. Debbie was always looking for ways to help others in need, and her generosity to all who had the pleasure in sharing her day to day life will always be remembered. She will also be greatly missed by her girlfriends known as "The Chickalinas," and by her Canasta playing girlfriends who always had a great time when they were together.
Debbie worked for the Toms River School District and the Simply Skin Salon and loved her jobs. She was also a partner in Jersey Girls Crafts and Slushies. Debbie was also a long-time coach and volunteer in the Beachwood Soccer Club and a member of the Beachwood Municipal Alliance. Her co-workers will always remember her as someone who always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. She was a truly selfless individual.
Without Debbie, our hearts are broken and our tears endless, but our memories and joys are immeasurable. Her laughter and smile will never leave our memories. We will continue to see Debbie in her sons' smiles and personalities. We will cherish every second spent with her and try to continue the dreams she had for her future.
Debbie leaves behind on earth her loving husband of 35 years, Larry and her four beautiful sons Jarred, Jordan Joshua and Justin of whom she was so proud. She also leaves behind her mother Fay Sferlazzo, her brother Louis Sferlazzo, many nieces and nephews and her very special friends, too countless to name. She is now sitting on the fluffiest cloud in heaven with her sister-in-law Bev and is now our guardian angel. Rest our beautiful Debbie till we meet again and know we will keep and protect your memories forever in our hearts and soul.
Her family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, from 6-9pm and Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm at the Anderson-Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. There will be a funeral mass on Thursday, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville, followed by entombment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Instead of flowers, those wishing to donate may contribute on www.giveforward.com and type in the search box, Love for Debbie. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonandcampbell.com.
