Dawn Patricia Di Gregorio, age 66, of Whiting New Jersey, passed away at home on January 15th, 2024. Born in Teaneck NJ, she moved several times throughout her life and lived in Paterson NJ before moving to Whiting.
Dawn went to A. Harry Moore School in Jersey City NJ and graduated from Clifton High School in 1977. Her primary employment was the Family Babysitter. She enjoyed being with and caring for her nieces and nephews. She was an independent individual who had a full life and was loved and admired by many. She loved watching Hallmark movies, playing games on her Kindle and talking on the phone. She became friends with her care giver and enjoyed going to concerts and dancing. An avid sports fan, the Denver Bronco’s and the New York Yankees were at the top of the list, though she was a fan of hockey and basketball as well. She looked forward to picking her winning teams each week during football season and could and would discuss the games with anyone who would listen. She loved weekend sleepovers with her sisters and getting the scoop on what was going on outside of her world. Daily calls with family and friends kept her up to date on all she loved and worried about. Dawn suffered many losses that changed her life significantly and she persevered. She was proud of her accomplishments and respected all of whom helped her get through life.
