Betty L. Sullivan, 85, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away on Friday March 9, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born and raised in Jersey City, Betty lived there until moving to Toms River in the late 1970’s. She worked as a manager for 23 years at AT&T in Freehold before retiring in 1989. Betty was a former member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Toms River, a member of the Telephone Pioneers and also was active in the Ocean County Women’s Connection.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Daniel in 1999. She is survived by her son Daniel Sullivan and his wife Justine, her son Allan Sullivan and his wife Winifred and her grandchildren Sean, Kathryn and Chelsea.
Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday March 19, 2018 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting, NJ.
