She was predeceased by her son, Michael in December 2011.
Surviving are her loving husband of 68 years, Matthew; her children: Sharon Rivera, and Matthew "Bud" Battiato and his wife Desiree; nine grandchildren: Michelle, Mike, Matt, Jen, Joey, Ashlie, Tyler, and Amber; seven great-grandchildren: Denae, Gage, Preston, Brody, Cooper, Emily, and Michael; two great-great- grandchildren: Daniel and Alyanna; her sisters-in-law: Josephine, Phyllis, and Mary Joan; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755.
