Anthony C. Mazzarella

Anthony “Toby” Mazzarella , 75 , of Tom’s River, NJ returned to God on September 7, 2020. Born in Jersey City, Toby had lived in Bayonne before moving to Tom’s River. He was in the Marine Corps where he proudly served his country. He was a welder at Freuhauf Trailer and finished his career working for Building’s and Grounds for Ocean County.Toby had many loves in life including working in the garden with his Elephant Ears, relaxing in his pool and attending his kid’s activities. He was always someone who could make you laugh and bring a smile to your face.

Toby is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Diane ( Derosa ) who he adored, children Robert, Melissa, Michael, Lori, Mark, Dawn and predeceased son Christopher. He also had grandchildren Andrew, Evan, Alayna, Brandon, Rachel and Abby and sister Annie, brother and sister in law Alan and Monica.

A celebration of Toby’s life will be held on Tuesday September 15, 2020 from 10:30 to 11:30 at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Maximillian Kolbe RC Church 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Berkley Township, NJ 08757 at 12:00 pm..
