Anthony J. Domino, 98, of Toms River, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Manalapan and Old Bridge before moving to Toms River in 1984. Anthony worked for the Board of Education of Madison Twp. for over 20 years retiring 34 years ago. He was a Corporal in the US Army having served in WWII from 1942-1945. He was a gunner on the medium Sherman tank of Company C 46th Tank Battalion 7th Armored Division. He was decorated as a dual recipient of the Purple Heart Award.
Anthony was predeceased by his wife Helen Skopak Domino and two sisters, Mary Petrick and Evelyn Domino. He is survived by his daughter Nancy Correll and her husband Jarrell of Toms River; his son, Charles Domino and his wife Diane of Toms River; two brothers, Joseph and John Domino of FL, five grandchildren, Anthony and his wife Lauren, Michael, Matthew and his wife Jewelann, Phillip and Ryan; and three great-grandchildren, Jayce, Emma, and Jewelann.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until a funeral service begins at 11:45 AM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755.
