Fernando had a love for music and was a well-known DJ (DJ Dark Knight Sounds) for the Phoenix area for well over 31 years. He spent most of his time doing what he loved best, spinning the tunes. Fernando also loved fishing, reminiscing with family and friends, and loved spending his days and nights with his children and grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. He had a love for Boxing and spent a lot of his time, with his children and nephews assisting in training. Fernando was also a collector of Batman memorabilia and was a great artist.
Fernando had a great sense of humor and his extensive vocabulary was more than highly proficient at knowing more curse words than most people learned in a lifetime. He was also a graduate of Carl Hayden, Class of 1985.
There are no words to describe the emptiness his family feels, for he was a great provider, loving Father and Grandfather. He spoiled his grandchildren and loved them all unconditionally. He leaves many great memories and his presence will be forever missed. His legacy will continue to live on through his family, as he taught us all strength, unity, and respect. He will always be remembered as “The Man, The Myth, The DJ, Our Dad” and as the love of his life would say “My Man”! …he was proud of his family, and we are forever blessed for having him as Dad, Daddy, Tata”
