Thelma Naomi Flack, 84, of Maysville, Kentucky died Saturday, February 25, 2017 at The Care Center at Kenton Pointe. She was the widow of Emery Harlan Flack who died March 29, 2015. The couple married on October 23, 1951. Mrs. Flack formerly worked for the Parker Tobacco Company and the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.
She was born in Lewis County, Kentucky on February 5, 1933 the daughter of the late Clarence and Wilma Spence Ginn.
She is survived by her five children, Emily Williamson (Phillip), Elaine Gardner and Kenny Flack (Jodie Banta) all of Maysville, KY, Tim Flack (Judy) of
Flemingsburg, KY and Barry Flack (Glenda) of Naples, Florida; eight grandchildren, Chris Flack (Nicole), Justin Flack (Amber), Aaron Flack (Kenda), Stacy Wells (Brent), Crystal Reed (Jeremy), Timmy Flack (Tiffany), Michael Gardner (Vanessa) and Caitlin Flack (Kevin Blethen); twelve great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Dennis Ginn (Cindy) of Maysville, KY and three sisters, Charlotte Spangler (Bob) of Cincinnati, OH, Nelma Mason of Tollesboro, KY and Grace Goodwin (Howard) of Maysville, KY. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Steven Flack; her son-in-law, Jerry Gardner; three brothers, Danny Ginn, Newell Ginn and Ronald Ginn and one sister, Iva Dean Ginn.
Funeral services for Thelma Flack will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2017 with Pastor Mike Grayson officiating. Burial will be in the Happy Hollow Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Flack, Brady Flack, Justin Flack, Aaron Flack, Timmy Flack and Michael Gardner. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 12:00 PM until the hour of the service.
