Alice Annette Kilgore

A. Annette Duzan Kilgore, 75, of Vanceburg, KY died Wednesday September 2, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Kilgore was an active member of the Liberty Grove Church. Her greatest joy was in serving Jesus, her Lord and Savior. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Mrs. Kilgore was formerly employed at US Shoe and with Comprehend Services. She was born in Ribolt, Kentucky on October 22, 1939 the daughter of the late John Carl Duzan and Hester Hazel Henderson Duzan. Survivors include her husband, Charles Kilgore whom she married on January 12, 1975; her two daughters, Dawn (Jay) Cushard of Tollesboro, KY and Tammy Kilgore of Vanceburg, KY; two granddaughters, Shanda and Jaycee Cushard both of Tollesboro, KY; two sisters, Carlene (Walter) Wallingford of Vanceburg, KY and Sue Duzan of Maysville, KY; one brother, Delmar (Erma) Duzan of Tollesboro, KY and one brother-in-law, Gerald (Jan) Kilgore of Florida. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Duzan and Glenn Duzan and one sister, Jetta Duzan. Funeral services for Annette Kilgore will be held at the Barbour and Son Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, September 4, 2015 with Bro. Brian McRoberts officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM.
