Peg Delaney was a Beautiful Lady in so many ways. The picture above is her and I at I assume a Service Anniversary. As so many others say, she was the Best Boss ever, but so much more.  In many ways those who worked with Peg were like her children, she wanted us to learn, improve and succeed as much as possible.  She guided us to expand our skills and abilities.  Both before and after I retired, I did a lot of remodeling work in her home. I have wonderful memories of our lunches together during that time. Peg loved animals and her garage was stacked high with seed and feed for all types of animals. I had installed  a “dog door” in the door to the garage so cats could come and go. It wasn’t just cats though, a raccoon was a regular in Peg’s kitchen. When I had installed a Home Computer for her, I suggested he user name br “Peg4nature, she liked that. Before Tommy passed, my family went on vacation a few times with Peg and Tommy to St. Martin. It was wonderful to spend time with them and learn their favorite restaurants on the Island. The past few years, Peg lived at College Manor on Seminary Ave. My wife Christie and I visited her there a few times and she was as sharp and gracious as ever. Peg Dulaney changed my life for the better and her friendship meant so much to me. 

Peg was probably the best boss I had during my career at the phone company. She was a great mentor for me when I moved into engineering. She supported me in every way and was a wonderful friend. The world has lost a little of it’s luster with her loss. She will be missed.
