John R. Banks

Following a lengthy battle with cancer on July 29, 2018 JOHN R. BANKS; beloved husband of Gail M. Banks (formerly Grundman); loving father of Andrea Banks and her partner Bryan Thunstedt and Andrew Banks and his wife Kathy; devoted son of Robert and Gloria “June” Banks; dear brother of James Banks and his children, Jane Roof and Bob Banks; adoring “Grandad” of Angela and Liam. Also lovingly survived by Gail’s children, Bryce G. Riebel and Tena M. Mannion and their children, Sarah, George and Margot and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Thursday, August 2, 6-8pm and on Friday, August 3, 10am-12noon with a Celebration of John’s life beginning at 12noon.

Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
