Marlene Mae (Bahns) Shaw, 88, of Sherwood, passed away April 3, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Marlene was born August 11, 1934, in Leigh, Nebraska to Frank & Alma Bahns. After high school she set out on an adventure, moving to Salem where she worked for the State of Oregon.
She met her husband, Ralph Shaw in Salem, and they were married Aug. 27, 1955. Together they welcomed four children who were raised on their family farm in Sherwood. They were happily married for 61 years until Ralph's passing in 2016.
Marlene was predeceased by son, Randy Shaw in 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Lorie Hall, Lynn Hayes and Lisa Shaw; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Her family will carry her love & memory with them forever.
A celebration of Marlene's life will be held on Saturday, June 10th at 1:00 at her residence.
