Bruce Robert Brown

Bruce Robert Brown, 64, of Newberg, Oregon (formerly of San Mateo, California), sadly passed away January 21st, 2016. Bruce will be remembered as a loving, passionate, caring, and giving, son, husband, dad, grandpa, and friend.

He was born in Vallejo, California on March 22, 1951 to Cecil and Clara Brown. He then resided in San Mateo, California up until 1979. Bruce loved motor sports and also made his living working in the automotive industry. He was a master auto mechanic, racer, and builder of flat track motorcycles.

Bruce married his best friend and life partner, Paulette (Tankersley) Brown in March of 1971. In 1979, he came to Newberg, Oregon to work alongside his father, at their family business, Cecil Brown’s Auto and Truck Repair. Bruce was a proud dad and grandpa, an avid race fan, enjoyed nature and music, and just happy to be able to live each day with no regrets. Peace and God Speed!!!

Bruce will be greatly missed and is survived by his beloved wife, Paulette Brown; his children, Brenda Brown (Ronnie) and Beau Brown (Jessica); his grandchildren, Clarah and Ethan Brown; his siblings, Brian Brown (Robin) and Brent Brown (Lisa); and his mother, Clara Brown. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Brown in 2010.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chehalem Youth Center, 620 N. Morton Street Newberg, OR 97132 on March 26, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm.
