Rachel passed away peacefully at the Collier Hospice Center in Wheat Ridge after a short struggle with brain cancer.
Rachel was born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico. It was there that she met her husband, Charles A. (Chuck) Williams. They began their family in Las Vegas and added to it in Raton, New Mexico before moving to the Denver area, where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker, and later worked in retail. Then she became the Textbook Manager at the University of Denver bookstore, where she worked until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Carla Santin, son Greg Williams and Daughter-in-Law Maggie Welch, her grandchildren, Shanti Williams, Michelle Graham, and Anthony Santin, and her great grandchildren Hannah and Austin Graham, and Zander and Draven Santin.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 3549 Navajo St., Denver CO, 80211 on January 16th 2019 at 10:00 AM, with a reception to follow in the church hall.
