I worked with Paul in San Diego and in Phoenix. I was on the San Diego leadership team with Paul, Susan Ritchie, Michele Champagne, and a few others. We had SO much fun together as young leaders learning to make our way in the cable business.

Paul went on to lead marketing & sales for the Phoenix system, and our paths crossed again.  He was very talented........he will be sorely missed by those who knew him.

I was very sad when I heard that Paul Gregg had passed away.  I worked for Paul at Dimension Cable/Cox in Phoenix from 1990 to 1999.    Paul was a great boss who always had a smile on his face and words of praise for a job well done.  Paul was always there for his employees -- he was kind-hearted, generous, supportive, and a good listener.  Paul was the kind of boss who made sure that his employees received recognition for their work and he encouraged them to grow in their roles.  
I have always considered Paul, as my mentor who helped me be the best that I could be.  He encouraged me to enter my research case studies in competitions in the industry.   Thanks to Paul’s encouragement, I gained industry recognition and achievement.    He was the best boss I have ever had and was, definitely, my favorite!  
After Paul left Phoenix, I stayed in touch with him and never forgot his birthday.  While I will not be able to reach out to him by e-mail or by phone, I will always think of Paul and wish him happy birthday on April 8 -- for years to come.  Paul was truly a great person and I will miss him. 


I played tennis with Paul in a mixed doubles group on Sunday.  He was always a lot of fun although very competitive.  (He might bungle a shot but we could never get mad at him because he always was so hard on himself.)  All of us developed a friendship over the years and it is one I treasure.
He  loved my peach jam and took great delight in the fact that he got first choice before the rest of the family.  He was also incredibly proud of them and loved each one equally as he created wonderful dishes for them . ( He and I loved talking about cooking although I couldn't hold a candle to his baking expertise.)
I went and watched him at the 2 tournaments he won last year at South Suburban and he was so tickled that some of us had come to watch.
I know my grief is nothing to what you all are suffering, but know that I will miss him a great deal.  I picture him somewhere skiing and playing tennis with no knee brace-- winning points and bemoaning missed shots.  And putting in his earbuds as soon as play was finished.

Paul was a terrific cousin to Greg and I during our visits to Denver so many years ago, and then later when he lived with us in Massachusetts for a sort while.    We loved Paul’s contagious energy, his big smile and, of course, his wonderful Karmen Ghia.    He lit up a room and we will never forget Paul.  - Brad Crooke

I worked with Paul at Times Mirror Cable Television. He was always so supportive and willing to listen to all sides of an issue. I loved  his sense of humor and counted myself lucky to sit next to him on an airplane or in a meeting.  

One of my favorite memories was Paul tying helium balloons to my baby daughters overalls. We were all at a party and he thought it would be fun to see the balloons moving around the room.  It was!

Paul and I became friends in Massachusetts, then in California, and when Paul's work took him to Phoenix and back home to Denver, and mine took me from California back to Massachusetts.  It's impossible to count the number of laughs we shared; fortunately, there were very few low points that we endured together. One that I remember particularly was the night that John Lennon was shot. We also had a few setbacks as sports fans until our teams turned things around. Paul was a true-blue Denverite and loved the Broncos; we were roommates the first year they went to the Super Bowl with Craig Morton at QB. He became a huge Red Sox fan during his eight or so years in New England, and we watched them win the 2004 World Series together. Our most profound sympathies go to Leahanne, his children and stepchildren. Our thoughts are with them first and foremost. For Penny and me, his passing leaves a hole that cannot be filled.

It is with such tremendous heartbreak that I send this note to express my condolensces to your family as you work through the loss of your family member and my friend.

I spent more hours than I can count on the phone with Paul each week.  I came to know Paul as a business leader, tennis player,  barbeque wizard, historian, vehement supporter of human rights and most of all, a caring and loving family man who spoke about his wife and kids during every one of our conversations. 

When the day got too crazy and I needed a break, Paul was always there to tell me a story, give me advice or just listen to me carry on about something in the world I didn’t understand or agree with.  Paul was an encylopedia of information and spent countless hours helping me understand the complexities of the world related to business, life and love.  Paul’s stories ranged from traveling across the world to adopt a child to his most recent deal which happened to be a discount on a car battery at Sears.  Paul’s depth of knowledge ranged from Broadway to Berlin and his heart was full of love and focused on preserving and improving the lives of those who needed support.  Paul’s love for competitive tennis inspired me to return to CrossFit recently.  I drew from Paul’s strength to walk away from habits that are not good for my body, increase my awareness for routine medical testing and live a healthier, more balanced life.  My days going forward will never be the same.

Paul’s inspiration and influence is not lost in his passing but will live on through everyone who had the privilege of knowing this incredibly fine man.  I am grateful to have spent some time on this earth with Paul Gregg and will carry his passion for people and humanity with me for the rest of my life.


My daughter Megan and Paul's step daughter...Savanah are best friends.  Over the past few years Paul decided that Megan and Paul should be musical theater friends.  I'm not sure it was even Paul's intention....but they were theater bff's.  He made sure there was an "extra" ticket for Megan and always included her.   She came home bragging of Pauls chicken and waffles...I'm not even going to try to compete...okay I tried and failed!   Paul was a funny guy and Megan loved his sense of humor.  We all did.  Megan will clap last at every musical in Paul's memory.  Loud...like he taught her.

We were shocked to learn of Paul’s passing. He was such a competitor and we considered him a good friend. Our sympathies and prayers go out to Leanne and family.

I will miss Paul . We played doubles on the Bow Mar  tennis team for a number of years. He was  a person with high energy .  At the same time he was always encouraging and supportive with a caring nature, 

Paul was captain/co-captain with me for several years on the Bow Mar tennis team.  We both enjoyed playing singles and last summer we were able to play early in the morning at the beach courts a couple of times.  We were evenly matched and just had a good competitive time in a marvelous setting.  Paul's high energy always kept his teammates on our toes, whether it was actually playing tennis or bringing refreshments.  He never was for a loss of words, and many of them always brought a laugh and/or smile.  I do, and will, miss him greatly.

My deepest sympathies to Paul’s wife Leanne and Daughter ‘s Kayla and Hayley. Paul was the best Father that I could’ve ever wanted for my Daughter Kayla. He was such a good person with a great sense of humor and He has always been there for His Daughter. He will truly be missed. May You Rest In Peace  Paul.

So sorry to hear of Greg’s passing.  I have fond memories of our time together at Dimension Cable in Phoenix at the beginning of my career.  My sympathies go to friends and family.

My sincere condolences to his wife and family.   I am blessed and grateful to have known and worked with Paul Gregg.  He was generous with his knowledge of business and his life experiences.   A conversation with Paul was to learn something new.  I’ll miss our talks.   Because of him,  I’ll never see Hummus  the same way..  The world has lost a good one.
