Michael Anthony Tate

Michael Anthony Tate, 68 of Denver, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 after battling a long illness. Michael was born on August 29, 1953 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Louis and Jane (Peters) Tate. He was raised and educated in Denver, attending North High School. After graduation, Michael obtained a Masters degree in Engineering. While in college, he worked for Westinghouse and later had a successful career with Martin Marietta. Upon his retirement Michael worked for Hyatt Hotels. He achieved many awards and accolades for his work and contributions in the engineering field. Michael was an avid sports enthusiast loving all sports especially the Broncos.

Michael is survived by his only daughter, Sharon (Jason) Wozniak of Killeen, Texas; grandchildren, Mi Kayla and Kyler; great grandchild, Cameron Wozniak; brothers, Louie (Linda), Danny (Kathy) Tate; sister, Karla (John) Madurkay; along with many nieces and nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his older brother, Tommy; and his parents, Louis and Jane Tate.

A memorial service for Michael will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021, 11:00 AM, at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. A reception will follow.
