Melissa Renee Miller

Melissa Miller, age 40, passed away on June 11,2023, after a short battle with illness. She leaves behind grieving parents, John (Laura) and Mary (Joe), her brother, Nick (Vanessa), sister Natalie, her aunt Lori (Mike), uncle Greg (Lynn), grandmother Frances, along with many nieces and cousins. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Hannah and cat Nylea.

Melissa was born and raised in Colorado and was an avid Avalanche fan. She was a super fan of Harry Styles music and made sure everyone else was as well.

Melissa was a hard-working college student who was obtaining her degree in Social Sciences. She ardently fought against the injustices in this world. She worked for Families Cares Center as a Clinic

Administrator and loved her job and her work family. Melissa was a smart and amazing child with an independent and ambitious spirit which guided her life.

Melissa was a devoted pet mom, who has touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her infectious smile and unwavering spirit have always brightened the lives of those around her. She was such an amazing light in our life. She was so funny and lit up the world when she was around you. It was important to make sure everyone she met felt seen and heard. She was the most spectacular human ever in this world.

A Celebration of Life service is planned for July 8, 2023, at 11 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant St., Thornton, CO 80229. All are welcome to attend. For those who are unable to attend, the service can also be viewed online.
