Mauricio Eduardo Torres Olmos

Mauricio E. Torres, beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2022. He was 27 years old. Mauricio was born on April 7th, 1995 in Vina Del Mar, Chile, to Angelica Olmos and Mauricio Torres. Mauricio then came to the United States when he was three years old.

In his short life, he Mauricio grew up and attended Prairie View High School and started a successful business with his father. Mauricio enjoyed spending his free time playing soccer and being with his family and friends. He most enjoyed vacations to Florida. Mauricio always knew how to make everyone laugh and smile. He was loved by very many.

Mauricio had the opportunity to travel to Chile, where he surprised many of his family members after 24 years.

Mauricio is survived by his parents, Angelica and Mauricio; his younger brother, Kevin; beloved grandparents, Margarita (Mami), Moisis (Papi), Octavio (Tata), Doris (Lela); uncles, Moises Olmos and Andres Olmos and many other family and friends.

A Celebration of Mauricio's life will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. A Rosary Service for Mauricio will be held 2:30pm, Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. A Catholic Funeral Rite will follow immediately, also at Olinger Highland. A reception gathering will take place until 7pm..
