Martha Addie Hall Schneider, age 70, of Strasburg, Colorado, cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 27, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Martha was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 11, 1953, to Wesley Fredrick Hall and Marjorie Inez Jenkins Hall. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from Granite High School. Growing up with one brother was a time of contentment and joy in her home. Her family was close knit and cherished many gatherings with extended family over the years. The family lived in the Sugarhouse area then moved to Holladay where they lived until she graduated from high school. She then went to school to be a Dental Assistant and worked at this for a short time. Martha loved elephants and over the years had quite a collection. Her family was the most important thing to her, and she especially enjoyed being near her grandkids.
Martha was an amazing person who made us laugh often. She was very caring and giving as evidenced by her desire to be an organ donor. One Sunday morning she cooked a whole box of pork chops that she handed out the window to her homeless friends. She loved life and everyone who was close to her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Wesley Fredrick Hall and Marjorie Inez Jenkins Hall. She is survived by her children Chaz Jolley (Laura), Kelsie Jolley (Duane), a brother Rick Hall (Sue), as well as 5 grandchildren – Derek, Aiden, Logan, Ayla, and Wesley, 3 nephews – Jason, Shawn, and Roger, and 2 nieces – Jodi and Gina.
