87, of Thornton passed away peacefully on September 4, 2015. June was born September 20, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Martin in 1999 and eldest son Glenn Martin of Monument just 2 months ago. June is survived by her sister Hap Bean of Decatur Illinois, her 3 children Lee Martin of Larkspur, Tina Johnson of Denver and Becky Steele of Canon City, 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Before retirement June was treasure of Thornton High School, after retirement she enjoyed singing in the choir at Thornton Presbyterian Church, oil painting, working with stain glass, swimming, golfing and bowling.
A Memorial Service for June will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. with a committal to follow; located at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery. Address 10201 Grant Street in Thornton, Colorado 80229
