Ina Mae Shannon, a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on November 3, 2024. She was born on August 29, 1950 in Aplington, Iowa. She was the daughter of Herman and Dotha Williams, and sister to Linda, Bonnie, Rhonda, Sherry, Cindy, Debbie, Maxine, and Jimmy. Ina's life was marked by her kind, loving, feisty, and fun personality. She was deeply devoted to her family and is survived by her sons, Robert (Bob) Shannon and Bruce Shannon; grandchildren, Chandra Shannon, Heather Morgan, Sydney Lanning, and Bryce Shannon; and great-grandson, Blake Morgan. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Max Shannon. Throughout her life, Ina found joy and fulfillment in gardening, painting and decorating her home, cooking, crocheting, and shopping. These hobbies brought her great happiness and were a significant part of who she was. She loved hosting holiday dinners and celebrations and made every family occasion special with her careful attention to detail. Her warmth and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
