Dorthy F. Curtis age 95 passed away on February 2, 2024 at Pathyways Hospice Care Center. She was born in Holyoke, Colorado. She was number 10 of 11 children of Jesse B. and Carrie F. (Johnston) Pierce.
She is preceeded in death by her parents, all of her siblings and their spouses, her former husband, Frank Curtis, 12 nieces and nephews, and she was the last of the cousins and friends of her generation.
She is survived by her three children, Carolyn (Harold) Maddox, Howard Curtis, and Dale (Deedee) Curtis, Bonnie (former daughter-in-law), 8 grandchildren and spouses, 18 great grandchildren, 7 step great granchildren, 6 great great grandchildren with the 7th coming this spring, and 10 nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Dorthy will start at 9:00 am on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Olinger Highland, services will follow at 10:00 am. There will be a reception prior to the graveside service from 11:00 am to 1:00pm. Dorthy will be laid to rest at Olinger Highland Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
