Donna May Sloan

Donna was born January 12, 1942 in Culbertson Nebraska. She relocated to Colorado during High School and graduated from Wheat Ridge High School. She married Gary Lee Segobiano in 1959 and had three children. She was a tough and tender mom, whatever was needed because she cared about her children’s souls. She is survived by her children Gary Mark Segobiano (Karrie), Ronnie Segobiano (Lorrie) and Rebecca Thompson (Ernie Rose), five granddaughters and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, August Desen and Vesper Garner, husband Gary Segobiano and husband Russell Sloan (married in 1975). She is survived by her sister Joyce Alberts (Neil) and brother Grant Garner (Joan).

Most of her life Donna worked in the medical field; she was a respiratory therapist, ICU nursing assistant and Hospice care giver, always caring for others in their time of need. She had a deep compassion for physical, emotional and spiritual problems. She was close to God and a very spiritual person.

Donna had great love and compassion for animals, especially dogs, they enriched her life. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Humane Society of the United States or a local animal shelter.
