Donna Marie Shelton

Mrs. Shelton was born in Nebraska to George and Gladys Phelps.

She married John Shelton, her husband of seventy years, in June of1950.

After graduating from Denver University in 1950, Donna taught in the Denver Public Schools. She took a sabbatical starting in 1955 to raise her two sons before returning to teaching. Donna retired from her stellar career at Westminster District 50 in 1993.

Mrs. Shelton is survived by her husband, John Shelton; sons and their spouses, Scott and Leslie Shelton, and Mark and Vickie Shelton; grandchildren and their spouses, Neil and Aimee Shelton, and Lauren Shelton and Fernando Incetta.

Private family services were held at Olinger's Highland Cemetery.
