David was born in Iowa and came to Colorado in 1964. He enjoyed square dancing, NASCAR racing, and reading western and spy novels. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed his many friends at the Active Adult Center in Thornton. He made his living as an electrician and retired at 70. He did not like being inactive and went to work delivering truck parts to repair shops throughout Colorado, Kansas and Wyoming. A heart attack at 80 caused him to retire permanently.
He is preceded in death by his parents David and Lucille and his two sisters Ruth and Georgia. He is survived by his wife Helen, two daughters Karen and Eileen, a granddaughter Allyson, a grandson Trevor, and a great granddaughter Harper.
Services will be held on October 24th at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. The Entombment will follow and will be held privately, for family only, at Mt. Lindo Cemetery.
