Darrell McCullough, born in 1933 in Nebraska, Darrell had a full life. What he would call the best years of his life were spent with his wife Addie who passed a few years ago after 62 years of marriage. They are survived by their three children, Cherri, Pamela, and Mark, as well as three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Darrell served in the Army during the Korean War and was very proud of that service. He was a member of Eastern Star and Masons.
He worked for and retired from Public Service Company of Colorado. After retirement, he spent many years traveling with Addie in their RV to see different parts of the country and to spend time with his brother and sister-in-law and his sister and brother-in-law. They also traveled to Ireland and England and went several times to Hawaii, which they absolutely loved!
His children will always remember the family camping trips - first in a tent and then in a pickup and camper. We all loved spending time playing cards, fishing, and waking up to the smell of percolated coffee and bacon!
Even at 88, he had a wonderful spirit and a great sense of humor and he loved his family very much. Life is never perfect, but he lived with dignity and grace and we celebrate his life. We take comfort in the fact that he is with his loving wife, family, and our Lord and Savior. No more pain or struggles - just an eternity of everlasting love and peace.
