Cynthia- or Cindy, as she was known to family and friends -was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others. She especially cared for the animals that became a part of her family. She did all this while caring for her husband Lee Logan, daughter Jackie Logan, family, and friends.
She was born in Denver, Colorado to the late Robert and Patricia (Whittaker) McGrath on July 8, 1957. She attended school in Westminster and graduated from Westminster High School in 1975. Afterwards, she gained an interest in pursuing a career in purchasing through multiple career experiences. During this time, through family friends, she met and married the love of her life, William (Lee) Logan. They were married December 19, 1975, and their daughter, Jaclyn (Jackie) Logan was born on October 7, 1977.
Cindy enjoyed being outdoors whether it was camping, fishing, or tending to her flower gardens. In 1994, they bought acreage for their horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and dogs. They spent many hours caring for the animals and enjoying the simple life. Finally in 2017, they bought their dream home in the country. Lee and Cindy spent 48 years building a life together. Cindy was also the family historian and shared the stories of her family to current and future generations. Cindy was also known as the party planner because of the gatherings that she would create for birthdays, holidays and other special events.
Cindy is survived by her husband Lee and her daughter Jackie; siblings Denny McGrath, Linda (McGrath) Mays and Joe McGrath; as well as many wonderful, loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cindy’s Celebration of Life will take place on June 22, 2022, at Olinger Highland Mortuary at 10:00am. Her ashes will be scattered at a future date.
