Cheryl Ann Reffel was born on August 14th, 1957 and passed away at her home on January 2nd, 2024 surrounded by her 2 daughters and her dog Buddy after a long battle with cancer.
Cheryl was born In Akron Ohio to Ray and Joanne Jones and was the youngest of 4 children. Her family moved from Ohio to Colorado at the age of 3. She grew up in Commerce City and attended Adam City Highschool. Cheryl had always loved the lord and even served on missions as a part of the agape force prior to starting her career. Cheryl Worked for Travelers insurance company for 45 years and had recently retired.
She was married briefly and had 2 children and 5 grandchildren, which she said was her greatest accomplishment. Cheryl had recently retired from Travelers insurance company after 45 years with them. Her favorite activities were spending time with her family playing cards or reading books to her grandkids, spoiling buddy and watching hallmark movies.
Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, Renae (Tommy) Johns and Melissa (Joey) Deaguero and five grandchildren Justin, Joseph, Teagan, Adam and Hannah. As well as many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by both of her parents as well as brothers David Damon and Robert Jones and Sister Marian “sunny” Jones.
