It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Beatty announces his passing at age of 85 on Monday, August 22, 2016. Roy was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Sonia of 61 years and his daughter, Laurel (Robert) and sons Jamie (Sandy) and Rob (Jacky). He was the proud grandfather “papa” to Brandon, Michael and Tyler.
Roy was born in North York and was a Captain on the North York Fire Department for 31 years.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with the family.
