Marjorie, known to all as Marge, was born August 10, 1924, to Frank Allison and Jessie Eliza Smith (nee Parker) in Cornwall, Ontario. She graduated from Ingersoll Collegiate Institute, and later from the visual arts program at Beal Technical Institute in London, Ontario.
She married Gerald Arthur Pelletier on June 21, 1952, after which they moved from southwestern Ontario to Toronto. Marjorie is survived by her husband Gerald (Gerry), her son Geoff, and her daughter Janet.
Marjorie was a talented visual artist. Prior to marriage she worked as a commercial artist, but she dedicated the majority of her life to her family, all the while using her artistic talents to design and create clothing for her family, home goods, and beautiful gardens. Marge was immensely proud of her family, and supported all of their endeavours. She loved to travel, and was able to see much of this world. She has passed on both her love of travel and creativity to her children through photography and model railroading, cooking and watercolour painting.
