Margaret Elizabeth Black

Mrs. Margaret Evans Black, wife of the late David Black, was born in Toronto on November 22nd, 1924, one of 5 children of the late Mr. & Mrs. Charles Henry Evans. She died of heart failure on August 9th, 2017, in Mackenzie-Vaughan hospital in Greater Toronto.

Margaret graduated from Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute in Toronto and was a member of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church and its Trident Club, in Toronto. More recently she was a member of Thornhill Presbyterian Church in Thornhill, Ontario, which she attended for many years.

She is survived by her brother, Charles R. (Chuck) Evans and his wife Noreen of Bluff City, TN, USA, and her sister-in-law, Judy.

She is remembered fondly by her Nieces and Nephews from Australia and the U.S.A., her cousin's daughter Mary Graham, her cousin’s son David Lloyd (Barbara) and her devoted friends Marie Domkous (Frank) and Dorothy Fretz. She is also fondly remembered by her many friends at Thornhill Presbyterian Church.

Friends may call Friday August 11th at 12:00pm at Thornhill Presbyterian Church (271 Centre St, Thornhill). A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm.
