Eva Joanne Blake

Eva Joanne passed peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital under the care of a team of doctors and nurses. She was very recently diagnosed with cancer of unknown primary in the 4th stage. Eva Joanne continuously kept her hope and faith strong throughout this difficult journey to better health.

She is survived by her daughter Renée, her son Andre, and her son-in-law Rey, her grandchildren Greyson, Leyla and Soleia, as well as her brothers Sam and Tony and many other loving cousins and family members.

She adored nature, beautiful flowers, watching anything in a theatre, gemstones and crystals, as well as being devoted to the art of Feng Shui, but most of all she absolutely loved her grandchildren. She would put all efforts forward to be at every birthday, holiday event, concert and recital for each of them. She was always present for all of life's moments.

Eva Joanne will always be remembered for her smile and twinkling eyes whenever she entered a room. Her generous soul would give delicious things to those she loved and would never miss an opportunity to find out how you were doing. She was an independent, proud, and driven soul that was guided by her inner values and her strong moral compass.

May she feel no more pain

May she rise above these earthly burdens.

May she join her parents, ancestors and our Father in Heaven and join the chorus of angels who guide and love us throughout our days.
