Deb was born on October 25, 1968, to Andrew and Heather Morrissey in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Deb will be fondly remembered as a beloved wife, loving daughter, cherished sister, and loyal friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She exuded strength, intelligence, and love, always offering her support to those she held dear.
Renowned for her resilience and wit, Deb's passion for caring extended to her beloved pets, reflecting her boundless creativity and skill in all her endeavours, including her years working as a Communications Manager for MADD Canada.
A steadfast pillar of support for her family, Deb leaves behind her husband of 23 years, Kevin, her mother Heather, brothers David and Dwayne and sister-in-law Julianne, and her niece, Summer. Her absence will be deeply felt, as she touched the lives of many with her unwavering love and loyalty.
She was loved by those who knew her, and her strength and loyalty will be missed by so many.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours on Friday, March 1, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. at Kane-Jerrett in Thornhill.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to MADD Canada or Diabetes Canada are welcomed in honour of Deb's memory.
Deb's unexpected passing has left an immense void in the hearts of those who cherished her, yet her spirit and strength will endure in the memories of all who knew her.
