Our deepest sympathy to the Changs' Family. I will always cherish my personal experiences with Angela way back to the 1960's when I was a teenager living in Harbour View. I lived next door to Ann and Easton and across the street from her Mom Annie, Papa Lym, Crosby, Valerie and Mike. I know all her brothers and sisters...yes I felt like a member of the family....  I drove Ann to visit her several times in Christiana. Carl Chang, Mike Lym and myself always had a great time playing with her young son Bryan when they visited Ann. Over the years I moved to Canada and lost touch with the family but I will always remember her gracious smile and kind words everytime we crossed paths. Angela ... may you rest in peace.

My meeting with Mrs. Chang was a long time ago. My family moved to Mandeville in the bauxite boom and Fontana was opening in the brand new plaza! What a thing that was! Our first Christmas in Mandeville and my first Chrstmas job, wow, Mrs.Chang hired this young teenager to work in the store, she was so encouraging and supportive giving advice and asking opinions of stock as you packed them out, did the display look right? These seemingly simple things put a young person at ease and made you feel competent. So from this support built a confident and loyal sales employee. I worked with the Chang family in both the Mandeville stores and learnt a great deal from Mrs. Chang, things that would set me well in my life ahead. Respect for staff, smiling and knowing your customers, remembering a person's choices in the store, helping someone to get the bags to the car, remembering a story shared by a customer the last they were in the store, these all made for special touches that were memorable for customers and she always made you feel like you counted, a member of the team! 



	Years have passed and many since I last saw any of the family, but I have never forgotten Mrs. Chang. I convey condolances to all the family, I know she leaves a great void for you all, but for sure you are richer for having lived life with her and made irreplacable memories of her and with her, these you will have with you for the rest of your lives. She has left a wonderful legacy and touched many lives for the good. God bless you all and may you rejoice in the life she lived and the bountiful joys you all shared with her.

I met Mrs Chang last year when Fontana opened the kingston branch , my self and a nother staff visited the Mo Bay Branch and the warm welcome I got from Mrs. Chang was nothing short of sweet and loving , she made sure we sat and ate breakfast of which she joined us to tell us of her life and the care she has for her staff and people in her life.



	Her standard towards life and her business was both devoted to God she gave many thanks to what God has done in her life and her business and family , that was inspiring for me.



	I learned that even though she was my boss she never once just told a staff what to do but she asked in the nicest way and always said please and thank you. Your opinion mattered to her when she wanted to impliment changes , she always said you would know more than I would because this is your department and you know how your customers feel because you deal with them every day.



	One saying she taught me that helps me everyday at work is "you will catch more bees with honey than vinigar"  in essence be kind and sweet to people and you will get more support out of them than if you were bossy and harsh.



	Many times I had to go check on her while she was busy in the store and ask her if she ate because once she started a task she doesn't stop until she finishes it , then she would say "what are you giving me to eat today Sim, nothing too salty but something nice' ...however after going through many lists of food we would end up with the same thing she ate everyday she was at kingston store .... a sandwich and uncle Bobby had the usual chilie from Wendy's.



	She was a sweet soul and I will miss her dearly.

I had the pleasure of working with Angela and Bobby Chang over a number of years.  She was a lovely person and we always looked forward to the visits at our showroom at Glazers Inc. Cheerful and never without a smile.  My deepest condolences to the Chang family.  Your loss is great.

Roberta, please share this message with your Dad and your siblings; I feel lucky to have known Angela. She was a great friend, non-judgemental and very supportive. She never missed an opportunity to compliment us or our children. I admired her strength. Nothing seemed to be too big a problem and all of life’s challenges were simply tests for her to overcome. I also admired her faith. It kept her focused on the important things in life—her family. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. No matter what, she always saw the positive in what they were doing.

Roberta, There are some things that people can not forget no matter how old or distant they grow in their lives. Your mothers voice and smile are two things I can hear and see so clearly at this very moment. She is engrained in my memory and only for the greatest of reasons. I felt safe, comfortable and even loved in her company. She gave me hugs and support when I'd see her and though I had hoped she was a secret scout for the Toronto Raptors, she still remained one of my biggest basketball fans. Angela was a beautiful woman and I feel blessed to have known her. Please send my sympathies to your family, let them know how highly I remember her. Dearest Debbie, I heard from Nancy of our loss of Aunt Angela. We are all devastated by this news and our hearts are just as broken. I Spoke with her in June and she was such strength to me during the loss of my dad. It's a hard time for you, uncle bobby and the family but just know that your mom was a saint and very much loved, and will be dearly missed. If there is anything that we can do to help with this grief and sadness, just know we are here for you and the family. I know the services are Thursday in the am, but I'm in Hawaii and won't be back in Miami till wed nite. But just say the word and I can come up for a few days. Ms. Chang Mr. Therrien Mr. Bobby Chang Mr. Chang Although I'm just sending this message, you have been in my thoughts and prayers ever since...not a day goes by without I'm thinking how you're feeling and coping. Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow, my heart goes out to you and your family at this difficult time. I miss Mrs Chang so much, I cried so much on Thursday. Though she had her times...we all have our times, but she was one of the sweetest person I ever know. I can only imagine the grief you're feeling. I gain some comfort from this scripture and hope you will too. 1 Cor. 15:21-26 which says impart, ' For since death came through a man, resurrection of the dead also comes through a man. 22 For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive. 25 For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. 26 And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. So we have the wonderful resurrection hope to comfort us. You can look forward to the time when death will be no more and you will see your loved one again. On behalf of myself and my husband please accept our deepest condolences.

My wife Carol and I wish to convey our heartfelt prayers on the passing of Angela, sister of our sister-in law Valrie Lue Sang, whose husband Bunny passed away a long time ago. Docky and Rosa were our good friends, and neighbour for quite a while, and we wish to convery our sorrow for the passing of Angela.



	May the good Lord welcome her into paradice, for a fruitful life well lived with her husband and family.

As far as I can remember my arms were always too small to contain the generosity of Aunty Angela - literally. Many times on our way from Kingston we would stop at Fontana in May Pen and leave with a armful of snacks, chocolate, bubble gum just pickney loving stuff.  I never saw Aunty very often but when I did it was always hilarious, entertaining and my arms would prove too small to carry out the blessings.  



	Once in a 'buck up' meeting in Florida, I went into a Toys R Us - now, I was living in Texas and happened to be in Florida for 2 days.  As I walked in, I recognized Uncle Bobby but he didn't recognize me.  As I am going towards him saying "Uncle Bobby" and him running away from me thinking to himself "who is this mad woman calling me Uncle Bobby", Aunty Angela came around and immediately said, "Sara! Lord! How are you?!"  With tornado speed, she asked me if I had children and at the time I had a 5 year old daughter. Before I could say 'fe' or anything ,she did a Usain Bolt run down the aisles and brought back a basket full of large toys for my daughter.  Her knowledge of those aisles is still puzzling! Of course, I had to ship the items because my hands were too small. 



	It is this same type of genersity I encountered years later when I took my children to Jamaica for Randy's wedding in 2013 and Aunty Angela was instantly smitten with my 4 year old son who reminded her of her grandson.  Instantly loving and embracing him, she gave me a command - "Go by the store and get him whatever he wants! And get something for Heaven".  I said to myself, what a way dem children bring me good fortune, I should have a dozen! In July this year, 2014 I went again to Fontana not looking or asking for favors and upon check out without her being there, the manager shared her spirit of generosity with my children.  



	Such a lover of children.  Such a generous, fun, empathetic, wonderful aunt.  I am so grateful my children had a chance to meet her, hug her and be loved by her.  When we think of her our hands will always be too small in trying to return the favors but our hearts will always have space in it to return her example of generosity to others.  We will miss her and promise to honor her through being kind with our hands and hearts to children we encounter on this journey.  Love you Aunty - thanks for the magnificent moments!

Dear Roberta and the Entire Chang Family, This is Ali Feldman, Ann and Joe Feldman's daughter writing to you. We just received the deeply unfortunate news that your mom, our dear friend Angela, has passed away. We are so sincerely sorry to hear this news. We have the most wonderful memories of your mom. She was always cheerful and friendly. She always waved to us when we were running off to school. We have very fond memories of her letting us decorate your family den when it was Christmas time. The Changs were the best neighbors we could ask for on Burbank. Your mom was particularly loyal to my mom. I remember when my mom was going through her treatment that Angela was sitting at home with her special beads and praying for her. In the Jewish tradition we believe that this world isn't the end and we believe that a person's special soul ascends the world and acts as a protection for us here down on earth. Your mom was such a special person. I am certain her very lofty soul will protect us. May you find comfort in loving and devoted person your mom was. It is with a very heavy heart that I pen this condolence as I try to come up with the appropriate words to offer my friend Brien and his family at the passing of their mom, "Auntygela". A more vivacious and out going person will be hard to find. It was only April of this year that I saw Mrs. Chang at the Mobay Fontana...and I hadn't seen her for awhile being so far away in Calgary. But when she saw me she gave me a hug and a hello that only a mother could give. It was warm and reassuring and most of all genuine and caring. It was so shocking to hear that 4 months later this wonderful woman was battling for her life. Though she is gone, I know that her legacy will live in her children and grand children. Mrs. Chang, Auntygela may the peace of Christ go with you. Love you always.
